Fluidly moving across various research and artistic projects developed over the years through the collaboration between QANAT collective and the Dar Bellarj Foundation, this conversation proposes to explore the politics and poetics shaping oasian ecologies and underground water infrastructures across North Africa and the Levant.

Particularly, our conversation will focus on the alternating destinies of the Marrakech palmgrove on the one hand, and on the resistant farming practices developed in Palestine by projects such as the Om Slimane community farm.
